Watermark, by Watermark Yachts ("the Service"), is software for managing vessels, maintenance, and related records. It is provided by Watermark Yachts, San Diego, CA ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the company you represent.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your credentials secure. Your data belongs to you: you can export it at any time from Settings, and you may request deletion of your organization's data by contacting us. We isolate each customer's data at the database level.
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a monthly basis and renew automatically until canceled. Cancel yourself at any time from Settings › Billing, which opens Stripe's own portal (no email, no phone call, no waiting on us). You can also email us or tell your account manager if you would rather, and a request in writing takes effect from the day you send it, not the day we read it. Access continues through the end of the period you have paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Don't misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to access other customers' data, no reselling without a written agreement, and no automated abuse of AI features.
The Service supports, but does not replace, professional judgment about vessel safety and seaworthiness. Maintenance suggestions, AI-generated drafts, and diagnoses are aids, not marine-surveyor opinions. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties; to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
